Dr. Kelly Freberg-Ash was born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. She completed her undergraduate training at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. Dr. Freberg-Ash continued on to medical school at Michigan State University. Upon completion of her medical degree, she was accepted into the Family Medicine residency program at the Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies in Kalamazoo, MI.
Dr. Freberg-Ash completed her residency in 2009 and began her Family Medicine practice at the Allegan Medical Clinic. Her medical interests include: the treatment of diabetes and hypertension, well-woman care, pediatrics and geriatrics. When Dr. Freberg-Ash is not treating patients, she enjoys outdoor activities, gardening, camping, crafts, and playing the saxophone and piano. She and her husband live in Leighton Township near Wayland, Michigan.
